Project Manager for the Improvement of Agricultural Structures (Civil Engineering)

The Office for Agriculture and Geoinformation is a service of the Department of Public Economy and Social Affairs. It brings together under one roof the four sections: agricultural measures, structural improvement, surveying and the GIS competence centre.
In the civil engineering sector of the structural improvement section, it actively participates in the sustainable development of rural areas. Its varied range of tasks includes infrastructure projects, from comprehensive land improvements and renovations of agricultural roads to water supply for alpine pastures as well as electricity supply and restoration after natural events.
It coordinates the tasks of cantonal and federal specialised services, advises clients and engineering firms, and ensures the proper implementation of projects. It is the main contact person for procedural law matters. As part of project support, it regularly participates in site inspections and visits. Through its work, it gains insight into various specialised sectors and the diverse regions of Graubünden.

For the civil engineering sector, we are looking for a Project Manager for the Improvement of Agricultural Structures (Civil Engineering) starting 1 October 2026 or by agreement.
Responsibilities
- Supervision of civil engineering projects and land consolidation (technical, administrative and financial)
- Advising responsible authorities and planning offices
- Review and development of project ideas and subsidy applications
- Collaboration in cantonal consultation procedures
- Participation in national and cantonal working groups supporting the section management
- Contribution to the implementation of the UAG digitalisation strategy
What we expect from you
- University or university of applied sciences degree as an engineer in geomatics, construction, environment, agronomy or a related field
- Communication skills, autonomy, solution orientation and a determined personality
- Structured and conceptual working method
- Teamwork attitude and enjoyment in tackling new tasks
- Excellent knowledge of German; knowledge of other cantonal languages is an advantage
