The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.

It manages pathologies related to the skeleton, tendons, and joints, whether accidental or degenerative in origin.
The rheumatology service treats diseases affecting the joints, spine, and bones. It specialises in the treatment of degenerative joint conditions, inflammations, and osteoporosis. Bone-related pathologies are managed by our Bone Diseases Centre (CMO).
