The longitudinal study «ZEPPELIN – Support from Birth» examines whether support from birth increases the educational opportunities of children from socially disadvantaged families. In the project team at the Institute for Professionalization and System Development, you will work as a research assistant and pursue the goal of a doctorate. The position is available immediately or by arrangement and limited until December 31, 2029.
Your area of responsibility
- Collaboration in data preparation and management
- Coordination of class surveys in lower secondary education with student assistants
- Sample maintenance (families and teachers)
- Evaluations, data analyses, and publications in your own research area
- Support with publications and activities in the project team
Your profile
- Master's degree in educational science, psychology, special education, or a related discipline
- Very good knowledge in planning, conducting, and evaluating empirical studies
- Very good methodological skills in statistical analysis. Experience with longitudinal data and multilevel analyses is desired
- Experience in early intervention, educational research, or (special) educational interventions is desired
- High personal responsibility and enjoyment of teamwork as well as independent and organized working style
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
