The Foundation for Sociocultural Animation of Lausanne (FASL) is a private foundation of public utility subsidized by the City of Lausanne. In partnership with neighborhood associations, FASL manages 17 sociocultural animation venues and has more than 90 collaborators. To complete our team at the Boveresses Center, we are looking for a:Sociocultural Animator at 70% Missions
- In collaboration with the team and the Association of the venue, design, define and implement the animation project;
- Manage the annual budget allocated with the Association;
- Share with colleagues the responsibility for the animation of the venue and ensure its good local integration;
- Promote the development of neighborhood associative life;
- Ensure, in collaboration with the team, administrative tasks, venue management, and communication.
- Hold a university degree in social work or an equivalent recognized title;
- Experience and good ability to work with all audiences, especially in open reception, group management skills;
- Interest in working with children and/or teenagers;
- Skills in conceptualizing and leading community projects;
- Interest in developing cultural, participatory, and activist projects;
- Proactive, creative, humorous, and dynamic;
- Organizational and planning skills;
- Ability to work collectively and autonomously in a horizontal organization;
- Good listening and dialogue skills, team spirit;
- High adaptability;
- Ability to supervise monitors and support interns and volunteers;
- Availability to work variable hours including evenings and weekends;
- Good knowledge of the Lausanne social system, strong interest in networking and associative environment;
- Good administrative skills and proficiency in common computer software;
- Driving license is an asset.
