Are you interested in accounting, want to work in an international environment and at the same time gain experience in auditing and consulting?

We offer a dual concept that gives you insight into Accounting Advisory as well as auditing.

As a Consultant in the Financial Accounting Advisory Services team, you provide consulting services across the entire finance function. In addition, as a prospective audit expert, you audit consolidated and annual financial statements according to Swiss and international accounting standards and complete the training to become a certified auditor with professional and organisational support from EY.

Your main tasks

Financial Accounting Advisory Services 

• You support and advise our international and national clients from industry, trade and the service sector on accounting issues (Swiss Code of Obligations, Swiss GAAP FER, IFRS and US GAAP). You support projects advising on transactions related to acquisitions ("Transaction Accounting"), sales and going public / IPO. This includes advice on the accounting of acquisitions and the preparation of pro-forma and carve-out reports.
• You are an important member of the team that supports our clients in the further development and transformation of their finance function, reporting processes and operational finance model - with the aim of optimising the balance of efficiency, effectiveness and control.

Audit

• Dive into the world of auditing, where you audit annual and consolidated financial statements as well as sustainability reports of companies from various industries directly on site with our clients.
• Use the latest technology ("Digital Audit") in implementing an intelligent, data-driven audit approach that helps you identify risks, detect anomalies and gain insights.
• Complete the training to become a certified auditor and have the unique opportunity to gain deep insights into the businesses of national and international companies from various industries.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (university or university of applied sciences) in economics.
• Very good German and English skills.
• A strong analytical understanding and a flair for numbers and advanced digital skills.
• Enjoy working with other people - whether directly with our clients or your future team colleagues.
