About the job
Portrait of the School/Institution
The Rossfeld Foundation offers schooling, residential groups, and therapy for children and young people with physical disabilities who are capable of attending mainstream education. In the canton of Bern, we are the only competence centre for children and young people with physical disabilities in the mainstream school sector.
All interns participate in our internal internship training sessions and are personally supported by the residential group management.

Tasks
You will
- assist with social pedagogical and remedial educational support
- take on care, accompaniment, and support of children and young people, as well as assistance in everyday school life
- have work assignments according to a fixed work schedule (no weekend duties)
- perform chores and tasks in the household
- participate in team meetings
Requirements
You bring with you
- at least 18 years old
- preferably a secondary school leaving certificate or a qualification with EFZ
- interest in training in the social pedagogical or a similar field
- natural aptitude for working with children and young people
- flexibility and straightforwardness
- enjoyment of teamwork
- resilience and conscientiousness

You will find with us a demanding, exciting, and varied internship position with children and young people. We offer diverse and interesting teamwork with regular working hours as well as internal training sessions. School holidays correspond to the holiday schedule of the city of Bern.
