Shunter
Tasks
- Coordinate and indirectly lead / pilot shunting movements in stations and sidings
- Disassemble, form, couple, check trains as well as all work related to train preparation
- Check loading and rolling stock and perform technical inspections of freight wagons
- Loading and unloading as well as provision of swap bodies and general transhipment work
- Work with aids such as radios or smart devices with apps
Requirements
- Swiss driving licence category B and completed Ai40 training or higher
- Willingness to work shifts, assignments from Monday to Sunday, including public holidays
- Reliable, punctual and responsible personality
- Good German language skills, spoken and written
- Affinity for modern communication tools
- Good physical condition and willingness to work outdoors in all weather
