In this position, you will transform and operate a unified Quality Management organization across the DI Automation value chain. You will set global standards and governance, embed preventive quality across the product lifecycle, and use data, automation, AI, and Siemens-wide initiatives such as Data Domain Management and Sherpa X to improve quality performance and business impact.

Strategic Transformation & Integration-
- Design and implement a unified QM operating model with global standards, harmonized processes, KPIs, and clear governance across DI Automation.
- Integrate fragmented quality activities, eliminate silos and duplicate work, and strengthen quality as a value-oriented business enabler.
- Build future-proof quality capabilities through digitalization, automation, advanced analytics, and AI-driven insights.

- Shift quality management from reactive issue resolution to preventive, risk-based quality assurance across the full product lifecycle.
- Lead and coordinate the continuous improvement of core quality processes together with the respective functions, including planning, risk, non-conformity, CAPA, supplier/material qualification, customer feedback, product safety, audits, and certifications
- Drive first-time-right execution, root-cause elimination, closed-loop improvement, and process stability to improve customer satisfaction.

- Define the digital quality roadmap and harmonize quality IT applications, data models, workflows, dashboards, and reporting structures.
- Establish a single source of truth for quality data and leverage predictive analytics, AI, automation, Data Domain Management, and Sherpa X.

- Build a high-performing QM organization with clear accountabilities, global governance, flexible capacity allocation, and future-oriented capabilities.
- Act as executive interface for strategic customer quality topics and escalations while strengthening proactive supplier quality development.
- Measure success through higher process adoption, lower quality costs and defects, faster issue resolution, improved supplier/customer performance, productivity gains, and sustained transformation impact.
Your defining qualities
- Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of progressive experience in quality management, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
- Strong record in leading quality functions across complex, multi-site organizations
- Experience in automation, industrial technology, or manufacturing environments preferred
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements, and industry standards
- Comprehensive knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.)
- Expertise in preventive quality methods (FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma, Lean)
- Strong understanding of digital transformation in quality management
- Experience with data-driven quality management and analytics
- Knowledge of supplier quality management and material qualification processes
- Familiarity with audit, certification, and compliance management
- Proficiency in quality management software and IT applications
- Experience with AI-supported analytics and data-driven decision-making
- Ability to harmonize and standardize digital tools and platforms
- Strong analytical skills for process optimization and KPI management
