Job Description
2050Today is Geneva’s Climate Action Forum where international Geneva institutions, such as permanent missions, international organisations and civil and private entities, come together to combat climate change by measurably reducing their GHG emissions. 2050Today promotes climate action by helping its members (+60) measure their emissions and implement common and customised solutions through thematic groups.
Within this framework, the post holder, under the supervision of the co-directors of 2050Today, has the main mission to:
➢ Contribute to the development and implementation of members’ initiatives in the thematic sectors identified by 2050Today.
➢ Ensure the coordination, facilitation and monitoring of activities carried out within the thematic groups dedicated to food, biodiversity, energy, waste management, mobility and responsible digital.
➢ Participate in organising events, facilitate exchanges and collaborations between members, and maintain links with external partners.
Required Title and Skills
Basic Education and Professional Experience Required
- High school diploma complemented by project management training, or equivalent title/experience;
- Professional experience in one of the fields related to climate action and sustainable development is an advantage.
Specific Knowledge Useful for the Position
- Fluency in French and English (C1);
- Organisational skills and mastery of project management;
- Experience in website maintenance (WordPress) and social media management and/or graphic design skills.
