About the job
Your area of responsibility
- Setting up, converting and starting up production machines and systems
- Ensuring a smooth production process during the ongoing shift
- Monitoring process parameters and optimising machine settings
- Deadline monitoring and tracking of delivery dates in close coordination with planning and production management
- Coordination and guidance of employees on the line / in the team
- Support and training of employees in handling machines and workflows
- Ensuring compliance with quality, safety and hygiene guidelines
- Carrying out initial inspections and participating in quality assurance processes
- Rectifying minor faults and supporting maintenance work
- Reporting production figures and deviations
Your profile
- Completed technical or craft training (e.g. production mechanic, polymechanic or similar)
- Experience in setting up and operating production systems
- Good knowledge of production processes and workflows
- Understanding of quality assurance and occupational safety
- Leadership and assertiveness skills
- Organisational talent and structured working method
- High personal responsibility and reliability
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Resilience and flexibility (shift work)
- Experience in staff management or as line manager
- Knowledge of ERP or production planning systems
