Museum Education/Communication at the Graubünden Natural History Museum

We are looking for an employee in the field of museum education/communication for the Graubünden Natural History Museum at the Office for Culture starting May 1, 2026, or by arrangement, to join our small team.
Your area of responsibility
- Organization, development, further development, documentation, and implementation of educational programs for school classes of all levels and other target groups
- Collaboration in the creation and supervision of exhibitions at the Graubünden Natural History Museum and the associated educational offerings
- Design and implementation of programs for children and young people in the leisure sector
- Support of teachers in the museum and maintenance of contact between the museum, schools, and training institutions
- Participation in the development of the museum's framework program and conducting varied tours and other educational offerings also for adults
- Supervision of interns in your area of responsibility
What we expect from you
- Completed scientific studies and/or pedagogical-didactic training, preferably with several years of teaching and/or museum experience
- Solid knowledge primarily of the local nature with a focus on Graubünden/Alpine region
- Enjoyment in conveying knowledge to children, young people, and adults
- Confident appearance in front of school classes and adults during public tours, lectures, and other events
- Good oral and written communication skills in German and preferably at least one other official language of Graubünden (Italian and/or Romansh)
- Independent and responsible working style, high motivation, creativity, resilience, flexibility (e.g., for evening tours), teamwork skills, and good communication
