Move into the newly renovated Huttunäscht
After three years of planning and construction, the time has come: we are moving into the newly renovated Huttunäscht.
New glass wall
The glass wall in the cloakroom area was delivered on a lorry and was already installed by the evening. The tiles in the wet rooms and kitchen in the basement have also been laid. The entire ceiling in the attic was insulated in a very short time. Things are happening!
The scaffolding is gone!
At the end of last week, the scaffolding around the new Chinderhuus was removed. Inside, after the shell installations, the homeliness is slowly returning to the house.
Construction progress as planned
The new Chinderhuus currently resembles a beehive. Various craftsmen are working simultaneously on our new premises. The facade at the back has already been repainted and now the front side is being renovated. The fire doors are installed and painters and electricians are working inside the house. The ceiling has already been replastered and painted, and the walls are currently being replastered. The knee walls in the attic have been insulated and a new door has been installed in the cellar.
Latest from the construction site
Inside the house, there is currently calm on the construction site. The holidays are noticeable here as well. The sanitary installers and electricians have already completed some work and will resume after the company holidays.
Outside the house, there is more activity. The facade is currently being renovated and replastered. Additionally, the finishing touches in the garden are underway.
Start of construction Huttunäscht
Perhaps you have already noticed during a walk that construction work for the KIBE Chinderhuus at Spitalstrasse 53 has begun. The former staff house next to the health centre is being converted to meet the needs of KIBE Region Huttwil and the KiTA. In December 2019, both groups of the KiTA as well as the offices of KIBE Region Huttwil will be able to move to the new location.
