For the Centre for Multiple Sclerosis and Clinical Neuroimmunology of the Bellevue Medical Group, we are looking for an MS Nurse (40-60%). The role is integrated into specialised neurological care and supports the care of patients with multiple sclerosis and other neuroimmunological diseases.

The person works in close exchange with the head of the MS centre as well as with the treating doctors. The aim of the role is structured, patient-centred advice, coordination and monitoring within the framework of specialised MS care.

• Patient advice regarding the diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, therapy options, everyday life, course and organisational questions.
• Support and coordination of patient queries in close consultation with the treating doctors.
• Instruction for initial MS therapies as well as coordination of preparatory examinations and measures before therapy begins.
• Monitoring and conducting functional tests as part of clinical routine and specialised MS consultation hours.
• Performing blood draws as well as coordination and follow-up of necessary laboratory and safety checks.
• Care and appointment coordination within specialised therapy programmes, e.g. register for autologous haematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
• Support in the structured documentation of clinical parameters, course data and therapy-related information.
• Participation in neuroimmunology board meetings and support of interdisciplinary coordination.
• Interface work with diagnostics, laboratory, administration, CTU and external partners in the BMG network.
• Collaboration on quality assurance processes in the area of MS care, documentation and patient coordination.

• Qualified nurse HF/FH or comparable nursing qualification; professional practice permit for Switzerland is an advantage.
• Experience or strong interest in neurology, multiple sclerosis and clinical neuroimmunology.
• Enjoyment of patient-centred advice, structured coordination and close interprofessional collaboration.
• Careful, reliable and independent working style with high quality in documentation and follow-up.
• Confident handling of digital documentation systems; willingness to familiarise with clinical register and documentation processes.
• Very good German skills; English skills are an advantage.
• Team spirit, empathy, discretion and high service orientation in dealing with patients.

• Specialised activity in an established centre for multiple sclerosis and clinical neuroimmunology.
• Close collaboration with experienced specialists and the head of the MS centre.
• Patient-centred, responsible role focusing on advice, coordination and quality of care.
• Structured induction into MS-specific procedures, therapy programmes and documentation processes.
• Regular working hours from Monday to Friday, during the day.
• Very central workplace in Zurich, partly in Basel.
