We offer training places from August 2026 as
Health Specialist EFZ
also with Vocational Baccalaureate
As a health specialist, you care for, support and nurse sick, impaired and elderly people in their daily environment. The corresponding training consists of professional activity in the training company, lessons at the vocational school and in the inter-company courses (üK) at the XUND Education Centre for Health in Alpnach. The
vocational baccalaureate can be completed alongside training if good academic conditions are met.
Requirements
The training to become a health specialist offers the opportunity to complete a 3-year apprenticeship in healthcare after compulsory schooling. A good
education, i.e. a secondary level I certificate (level A or B), good oral and written German skills, is a prerequisite. The training starts each August.

As a trainee at Spitex Nidwalden, you work in a team with great independence, a lot of
personal responsibility and varied activities. You will be accompanied, supported and assessed by our trainers and experienced professionals. In addition, you have 33 days of holiday.
