Sawia, Care in Old Age - Living in the Neighbourhood, operates 6 open care apartments in cooperative settlements in Albisrieden/Zurich. In friendly, spacious apartments with gardens, elderly and care-dependent people find a new home. Lovingly and competently cared for.

In three of the six care apartments, elderly people with Italian and Spanish-speaking backgrounds live. Here they can converse in their mother tongue, live their cultural habits, and enjoy a Mediterranean cuisine.

The friendly, spacious apartments with gardens may be furnished with personal furniture and favourite items to create a new home. Rooms and daily routines are also oriented towards everyday life as known from home. In small, family-like groups, the elderly are lovingly cared for and competently looked after.

Your tasks

• Supporting residents in their daily lives
• Carrying out nursing and care tasks according to instructions
• Promoting the independence and quality of life of the residents
• Assisting in creating a familial and appreciative living environment
• Collaborating with the care team and other professionals

Your profile

• Completed training as an SRK Care Assistant or Assistant in Health and Social Care (AGS)
• Experience in caring for and supporting elderly people is an advantage
• Empathy, patience, and enjoyment in working with elderly people
• Good German skills; additional language skills (Italian or Spanish) are an advantage
• Team spirit, reliability, and a sense of responsibility
