Stiftung Humanus-Haus
Rubigen
Dipl. Nursing Specialist HF/FH as Deputy Head of Nursing, with prospect of Co-Leadership, Inhouse Spitex, 70 to 100%
- 10 October 2026
- 70 – 100%
- Permanent position
- Rubigen
About the job
As part of the international Camphill movement, the Humanushaus combines anthroposophical values with modern care and offers a loving and stimulating home to over 100 people in need of support.
From 1 January 2027, our own Spitex will commence operations. The cantonal operating licence has been in place since July 2026, and the Head of Nursing will be appointed from that date. As their deputy, you will help build up the service.
Our Spitex does not run tours. Care is provided on our premises, in the residential groups, together with the teams working there. Nursing is part of everyday life with us, not a separate operation. It is oriented towards life in the residential group.
Your tasks
- Basic and treatment nursing in the residential groups
- Conduct needs assessments, intended with RAI-Home-Care, and derive nursing plans from these, distinguishing between nursing and care services
- Instruct staff in the residential groups on defined basic nursing tasks, check safe implementation, document instructions
- Link between individual care planning and nursing planning
- Nursing documentation that withstands scrutiny by health insurers and supervisory authorities
- Professional responsibility in the absence of the Head of Nursing: own decision-making competence in nursing matters, contact person for doctors, health insurers and the health department. Decisions with personnel, financial or strategic implications are referred to the overall management of Agogik.
- Quality assurance and error management according to "Paths to Quality"
- Co-development of processes in the first year of operation
What you bring
- Diploma as a nursing specialist HF or FH, or a foreign qualification recognised by the Swiss Red Cross
- Professional practice licence from the canton of Bern, or the prerequisites to obtain it by the start of employment. We will support you in this.
- Professional experience in direct nursing, preferably in Spitex, including billing of nursing services
- Experience with RAI-Home-Care or a comparable assessment tool is an advantage
- Enjoyment in accompanying people in need of support over years, and the conviction that nursing integrates into their daily life rather than replacing it. Experience in this accompaniment is even better.
- The ability to instruct staff without nursing qualifications clearly and appreciatively
- Openness to our view of humanity and our social therapeutic mission. Experience in anthroposophically oriented nursing is welcome but not a requirement.
What we offer you
- A newly created position that you can help shape, with the prospect of growing into a co-leadership role
- Short lines to the Head of Nursing and overall management of Agogik
- Contemporary employment conditions in a lively operation in a wonderful environment
- Humour, respect and appreciative communication
Operating hours are based on the daily routine of the residential groups; outside these times there is an on-call arrangement. How on-call and weekend duties are distributed within the nursing team will be determined once the Head of Nursing is in office.
