Head of Civil Engineering and Deputy Head of Building Administration 100%

The Suhr Building Administration is responsible for the approval process, environmental protection, organisation of civil engineering and construction works, public properties, the building office, the swimming pool, and the building services. The municipality owns numerous facilities and installations.

You will be active in the following areas with us.

• You will independently lead the civil engineering department, supported by an employee
• You will accompany our new construction and renovation projects as the client representative
• You will professionally conduct tender procedures and draft the necessary municipal council resolutions
• You will be the technically competent contact person for residents, authorities, and business partners

You will act as deputy to the Head of Building Administration.

Your requirements

• You have a basic technical education in construction, ideally complemented by further advanced training and leadership experience
• You bring several years of experience in a municipal building administration
• You are well versed in building law
• You enjoy working independently, reliably, and carefully
• You have good verbal and written communication skills
