A resident position is available at the stationary ruminant clinic of the Vetsuisse Faculty, University of Bern.
Training position with a focus on individual animal medicine (2¾ years in the stationary ruminant clinic and the possibility of a 3-month training exchange in herd medicine)
Care of stationary clinic patients, including emergency service, together with specialists and veterinary medicine students
Preparation of a dissertation (or a scientific paper, if a dissertation is already available)
Thorough training in ruminant medicine (internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, and herd medicine) with the goal of fulfilling all requirements for obtaining the specialist veterinarian title FVH for ruminants at the end of the 3-year employment (except for 6 months of practical experience according to FVH regulations: https://www.svwassr.ch/fvh-wiederkaeuer ).
Preparation for a later activity in practice.
