Matinees and Organ Concerts
Matinee
Four to five times a year, a matinee takes place before the Sunday morning service in the church with guest musicians or choirs. These small musical celebrations offer the opportunity to listen again to the music heard in the service, sometimes in connection with texts or poems. A similar musical-liturgical service is offered by the Good Friday vespers.
Organ Concerts
Several times a year, the traditional organ concerts take place in the Reformed churches of Stäfa and Hombrechtikon, sometimes also involving the Steinway grand piano. In spring, one is usually held in cooperation with the Stäfa Reading Society and the Stäfa organist, and in autumn others with guest soloists from around the world.
