Currently, around 110 young people are undergoing commercial training with the Canton of Zurich.
The Training
The commercial training is carried out according to a rotation system on an annual basis. This allows you to get to know three different companies, tasks, and workplace cultures of the Canton of Zurich. During your training, you will go through three different organizational units such as:
Career counseling (biz)
Vocational and universities of applied sciences / University of Zurich / University of Teacher Education
Courts / Public Prosecutor's Offices
Child and Youth Welfare Centers (kjz)
Tax Office, Social Welfare Office, and Migration Office
Road Traffic Offices and many more...
Requirements
For the three-year basic training as a commercial employee EFZ, we expect good grades at the highest school level. You are communicative and enjoy contact with people. In addition, you have very good oral and written German skills. You are open to new things, willing to learn, and reliable. If you have very good performance at the highest school level, you have the opportunity to complete the vocational baccalaureate in combination with the three-year basic training as a commercial employee.
