Your responsibility
- Risk Reviews & Loss Estimates: Apply your engineering expertise to assess complex risks in heavy industries and power generation. Deliver insightful loss estimates and actionable recommendations that shape underwriting decisions and protect our clients' interests.
- Loss Prevention: Advise on state-of-the-art loss prevention strategies, conduct on-site risk surveys, and provide technical guidance to both clients and internal teams. Your work will directly enhance the safety and resilience of major projects.
- Collaborate & Influence: Work closely with underwriters, claims and natural perils specialists. Foster relationships with industry experts and represent Helvetia at conferences, client meetings, and industry events.
- Innovate & Educate: Develop and apply advanced scientific and technical methods for risk assessment. Share your knowledge by coaching new team members, writing expert analyses, and presenting at industry forums.
- Drive Excellence: Apply the highest standards in risk engineering, ensuring quality assurance and continuous improvement in all activities.
Your qualification
- You hold a degree in electrical, mechanical, or process engineering, and bring proven hands-on engineering experience-if you've worked on construction projects, that's a great bonus.
- You're passionate about loss prevention, with a solid understanding of fire protection and process safety management, and you're ready to apply your expertise in a dynamic environment.
- You thrive in a team, manage projects with confidence, and embrace continuous learning and professional growth.
- You're proactive, adaptable to changing priorities, consistently deliver exceptional service, and are excited about the opportunity to travel internationally (up to 20%).
- Your fluency in English, plus at least one other major language, sets you apart, and your excellent communication skills help you build strong, lasting client relationships.
