What are the tasks awaiting you?
Main accounting (monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements)
- Responsibility and management of the general ledger including accounts payable according to the chart of accounts / Swiss GAAP FER
- Consolidation of all bookings from the subsidiary ledgers
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and ad-hoc reports
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts (liabilities)
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Ensuring data integrity as well as compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and accounting standards
- Providing a reliable data basis for operational and strategic controlling
- Coordination with external parties (e.g., auditors, banks, foundation supervision)
Subsidiary ledgers
- Management of accounts payable
- Management and maintenance of fixed asset accounting as well as inventory, fund, and project accounting including procurement processes
- Preparation of subsidiary ledger evaluations and detailed reports
- Reconciliation of subsidiary ledgers with the general ledger
- Ensuring the correct transfer of all detailed bookings to the general ledger
- Preparation of reporting
- Ensuring data quality, internal control system (ICS), and compliance
What profile do you bring?
- Commercial basic training with further education in finance and accounting
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting (Swiss GAAP FER)
- Structured, precise, and independent working style
- Strong affinity for numbers and high sense of responsibility
- Team-oriented personality with a hands-on mentality
- High personal responsibility, flexibility, and entrepreneurial thinking
- Affinity for IT systems and digital processes (e.g., Salesforce, Raisenow, Abacus, Mews/Protel)
- German (native), Italian and French are an advantage
