About the job
Due to the retirement of the previous post holder, we are looking for you to start on 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.Head of House and Sport Department (m/f/d) 80–100 %
Your tasks
- You will take over the personnel, professional, organisational and financial management of the House and Sport department.
- You ensure professionally correct analyses and key statements on central questions of accident prevention.
- You ensure the focus-oriented advisory activities according to the multi-year programme and the corresponding annual goals.
- You represent the concerns of the BFU in House and Sport to important stakeholders, media and national as well as international working groups.
- You manage large projects and bear the substantive responsibility for major events and important partner contacts in the thematic area of responsibility.
- As a member of the management team, you contribute to the development of the BFU strategy and long-term planning and advise the director on political and strategic issues.
Your profile
- University degree in natural sciences, engineering or a similar field
- Strategically thinking leader with a prevention compass, scientific basic understanding and political-communicative robustness
- Excellent conceptual and editorial skills, strong communication
- Flexibility, resilience and assertiveness
- French or German mother tongue with very good knowledge of the other language as well as very good English skills
