Together with our client, an industrial company in the Bern region, we are looking for a motivated individual as a Specialist in Work Preparation & Production Planning 80-100% by arrangement. The company specialises in the manufacture of sophisticated metal components and customised construction solutions, combining many years of experience with modern production technologies. Your tasks with the new employer

• You take over the work preparation for demanding metal constructions and ensure structured planning of the production steps
• By creating and maintaining production documents, work plans, and master data, you lay the foundation for efficient manufacturing processes
• Coordinating material availability, production capacities, and order deadlines is part of your responsibilities, as is forward-looking production control
• As a central interface between the technical and operational departments, you promote smooth information flow and actively contribute to optimising existing processes

You offer your new employer

• You have completed a mechanical-technical basic training, ideally supplemented by further training in process management or production planning
• At least two years of experience in work preparation as well as a good understanding of industrial manufacturing processes and technical workflows distinguish you
• Very good German skills as well as confident handling of MS Office and ERP systems are required; knowledge of ProAlpha is an advantage
• Your forward-thinking mindset, initiative, and pragmatic hands-on mentality distinguish you; you also value collaboration and want to actively improve existing processes
