Head of Department Living & Daytime Activities Adults
In this key role, you will assume operational and financial overall responsibility for the "Living & Daytime Activities" area of the adult sector with 200 employees and ensure its value-oriented leadership. Together with your management team, you will strategically develop the area, ensure an attractive and client-centred offer, and manage profitability, quality and resources. You will implement systematic performance indicators and optimise processes with a view to effectiveness and efficiency. At the same time, you will maintain a sustainable network with associations and referring agencies and promote innovative living and daytime structures that enable individual development and social participation in accordance with the UN CRPD. As a member of the executive board, you will shape the further development of Sonnenhof together with your executive colleagues and share responsibility for its operational and financial management. You will foster a cooperative and responsible leadership culture, represent Sonnenhof professionally externally and strengthen its position as a professionally and economically reliable partner as well as an attractive employer.
You have a tertiary education in social work, nursing or a related field as well as further training in social sector management. You bring several years of leadership experience, ideally in the social or health sector, business management understanding as well as experience in project work, organisational development and change processes. You are a appreciative and socially competent leader who thinks strategically, works interdisciplinarily and understands how to connect different professions. Interest in anthroposophy or the willingness to familiarise yourself with this approach is a prerequisite. You lead with openness and clarity, empower your leadership representatives to act independently and lead by example with constructive criticism and self-reflection.
