Lawyer as Legal Specialist 60-100%
Exciting tasks await:
- Drafting judicial and extrajudicial submissions
- Representing the public unemployment fund in court
- Ensuring correct legal application in the area of subrogation
- Independently handling legally complex matters in the field of labour and social insurance law
- Instructing and mediating legally complex matters
What you bring:
- University degree in law and a lawyer's licence advantageous
- Extensive practical experience in civil procedural law and litigation before courts
- Experience in contract law and possibly in labour law
- Several years of experience in a law firm or at a court
- Analytical and interconnected thinking as well as negotiation skills and implementation strength

Your working environment
At the Office for Economy and Labour, we implement federal laws such as the Unemployment Insurance Act (AVIG), the Employment Services Act (AVG) and labour law (ArG). The main tasks include supervision of industry and commerce regarding occupational safety and health protection, advising and mediating job seekers, and paying unemployment benefits to eligible persons.
