About the job
The Schaffhausen Hospitals include the Cantonal Hospital, the Psychiatric Services, the Radiology and Cardiology Posthof Neuhausen practices, as well as the Neurology Practice Schaffhausen Centre. With over 1,700 employees, we ensure the extended medical and nursing primary care of the Schaffhausen region. Each year, we care for around 11,000 inpatients and 90,000 outpatients. Additionally, we are an important training centre in the canton.
The Central Outpatient Clinic cares for patients from surgery and orthopaedics who come to us for preliminary examinations, follow-ups or minor procedures. Additionally, we handle the registration for the specialist departments of urology, angiology, rheumatology and pneumology.

What Awaits You
- Operating the patient counter and reception
- Assistance during consultations
- Planning and organising specialist consultations
- Telephone service and appointment scheduling
- Maintaining electronic medical records
- Writing outpatient examination reports and correspondence
- General secretarial duties
What You Bring to Us
- Completed training as a Medical Practice Assistant EFZ
- Several years of professional experience
- You are a responsible, resilient personality with a clear service orientation
- Organisational talent through and through – you always keep an overview and plan efficiently
