The Bremgarten Retirement Center near Bern (AZB) offers 46 residents a pleasant, well-maintained, and safe home in a central location with a large park. In a neighboring building, caretaking and domestic services are provided. Starting November 1 or by arrangement, we are looking for a Head of Infrastructure Department (80-100%) (caretaker with federal diploma, specialist in operational maintenance EFZ, or a professional with a craft or technical education) - The Infrastructure Department is divided into Technology/Security and Housekeeping/Laundry. The Head of Infrastructure Department leads the department as a member of the management team. He or she is specifically responsible for the Technology/Security sub-area. The responsibilities include:
- Overall responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of the two buildings and their gardens as well as for smooth operations in all technical areas including fire protection equipment
- Planning and leading the Technology/Security team as well as responsibility for the vocational training of an apprentice
- Responsibility for safety and health protection, disposal and environmental protection, as well as purchasing and maintenance of furniture throughout the entire operation
- Analysis of consumption figures, review and implementation of resource-saving measures (energy balance)
- Monitoring service contracts and creating maintenance and repair plans for the technical area
- Assistance with maintenance and cleaning work
- Organization and assistance with winter services
- Taking on on-call duties We expect:

- Driver's license category B (own vehicle for on-call duties preferred)
- Maximum 30 minutes travel time during on-call duty
