Vontobel holds a strong market position in asset management for pension funds and has also successfully developed the business for customised pension solutions (1e, executive pension plans, vested benefits and pillar 3a) in recent years. To further grow our pension business, we are looking for a highly qualified and results-driven specialist to strengthen our team in Zurich.
What are your tasks
Approaching and acquiring clients in the target segment of pension solutions, namely executives, self-employed individuals and entrepreneurs, through the sales of the bank's 1e executive pension plan solutions
Acquisition of new clients in the areas of other executive pension plans, vested benefits and pillar 3a
Cross-selling into various other areas of the bank, especially into Wealth Management
Systematic handling of the broker market and building a network of intermediaries, advisors and intermediaries in your region
Advising demanding clients in all areas of pension solutions
What do we expect?
Excellent acquisition, advisory and negotiation skills
A strong network of external business partners
Sound advisory competence in all topics of financial and pension advice including pension fund issues, pension planning, financial planning, taxes, etc.
Many years of experience in the field of occupational pensions, e.g. at an insurer or a bank
Solid knowledge in asset management and/or investment advice
Academic education with a degree and/or advanced training in financial planning or occupational pensions
Very good German and English skills (spoken and written), French skills are an advantage
An entrepreneurial, motivated, team-oriented and engaging personality with a confident appearance, empathy and the ability to speak the client’s language
Willingness to travel for client-related activities throughout the German-speaking part of Switzerland, especially in the greater Zurich area
