The Bern Historical Museum is one of the leading museums dedicated to cultural history in Switzerland. Its collection is conceived as an ever-expanding database, a memory of life and culture in Bern and worldwide. The history, archaeology and ethnography collections today comprise around 567,000 objects, each offering insights into spheres of life from different eras and contexts.
As part of a partnership with the Swiss National Bank (SNB), the Bern Historical Museum designed and realised the Moneyverse . Inaugurated on 10 April 2026 and located in the heart of the city of Bern, the Moneyverse is entirely dedicated to one of humanity’s most important inventions: money.
The Bern Historical Museum is responsible for its management, mediation and ongoing development.

Your main responsibilities
- Facilitating thematic introductions, interactive tours and other mediation formats for classes and adult groups
- Encouraging dialogue and reflection around the exhibition themes
- Welcoming, informing and advising visitors
- Supporting the operation of the Moneyverse and during events
- Participating in responsibilities regarding safety, technology and exhibition spaces
