A cantonal public law establishment, the CNP is tasked with leading the health policy of the canton of Neuchâtel in the field of mental health, in collaboration with partner institutions. The CNP aims to rehabilitate patients suffering from mental disorders through the adoption of an integrated and community psychiatry model; it implements public policies for the promotion and prevention of mental health; it acts as a reference centre in the field of professional training and research in psychiatry.
The Finance and Operations Directorate is seeking for its technical service a:
Electrotechnical Maintenance Technician
The mission of the technical infrastructure department is the management of maintenance and upkeep of the company’s complex technical installations. Within the framework of building and equipment operations, the technical service carries out curative and preventive interventions, ensures the compliance of installations and optimises performance.
You will be required to:
- Independently or with the support of a colleague, or even an external specialist mandated, carry out work related to the installation and maintenance of installations, devices and equipment as part of technical intervention requests and curative and preventive maintenance,
- Work with, interpret, and understand diagrams, plans, sketches and instructions necessary for the proper functioning of infrastructure equipment, facilities and buildings,
- Accompany and control the quality of work carried out by external suppliers,
- Analyse critical and/or complex situations and propose improvements to infrastructure installations and building equipment,
- Work as part of a team with maintenance colleagues in daily activities,
- Participate in the on-call service,
- Inform your hierarchy of any intervention, detected fault or information received from third parties concerning technical installations, equipment and buildings.
The required skills and qualifications are as follows:
- You have at least 5 years’ experience in the required fields.
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) or an equivalent qualification.
- Autonomous in carrying out your tasks, with a strong team spirit, you know how to collaborate effectively with professionals from various trades and contribute to the smooth running of a multidisciplinary team.
- You are rigorous, methodical and analytical. You are comfortable with IT tools and able to propose improvements and adhere to maintenance protocols.
- Respond reactively and appropriately to requests, especially in emergency situations.
- Take spontaneous and responsible measures within your scope to optimise your actions.
- Have a keen sense of observation and concern for verification and control.
- Respect professional secrecy and confidentiality regarding activities related to the institution in accordance with the requirements set out by the applicable collective labour agreement.

- Hold a category B driving licence.
- Based in Préfargier, with interventions on our sites in the canton of Neuchâtel.
- On-call service: generally one week per month, from Monday to Monday, day/night intervention by phone and/or on site within 35 minutes.
Start date: 1 November 2026 or by agreement
