The Appenzell Ausserrhoden Hospital Network, with the Herisau Acute Hospital and the AR Psychiatric Centre in Herisau, ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.

We are looking for

In the Human Resources Department under the leadership of Ms Ines Doherr, Ms Sarah Tihanyi is seeking an Education Officer with a focus on nursing training for the Herisau Hospital with a workload of 60-80%.

Your tasks

• Further development and active shaping of vocational education taking into account the education strategy and quality standards
• Professional and personnel management of vocational trainers within the area of responsibility
• Planning, control and organisation of recruitment, training and qualification procedures
• Further development of training concepts, learning offers and instruments for quality assurance
• Contact person for education providers, vocational education offices and other partners as well as advising interested parties about training

That is why we want you

• You have a degree as a qualified nurse HF/FH
• You bring experience in healthcare and vocational education
• You have completed SVEB-1; ideally you hold the federal specialist certificate as a trainer
• You communicate confidently and appropriately for the target audience in spoken and written form
• You convince with your social skills, initiative and enthusiasm for supporting trainees
