The Fund Management sector (IM-GM) has overall responsibility for the SBB and its affiliates’ funds at 100%. You contribute to the realisation of new railway infrastructure, attractive stations and modern operational facilities, ensuring that the necessary land and requested rights are available in good time. You will join a motivated and collaborative team that works reliably even in dynamic situations and values team spirit and humour.

What you can get moving.

• You have overall responsibility for the land activities of railway operations in the Eastern Region, particularly for the acquisition of land and rights.
• Together with your team, you ensure the proper formal, timely and financial management of land transactions for railway projects.
• You are responsible for the operational, strategic and personnel management, as well as costs, deadlines and quality of the unit.
• You competently conduct complex negotiations concerning real estate transactions and compensation claims, representing the unit cross-functionally before authorities, commissions and third parties.
• You contribute to the development of the unit by participating in complex and strategic projects, ensuring the long-term orientation of land activities.
• You recognise potential in your team (around 7 people), promote professional development and support employees in achieving their goals.

What you bring with you.

• Confident presence, strong communication and negotiation skills, enabling you to find sustainable solutions even in challenging conversations.
• Analytical and conceptual strength, as well as strategic thinking ability, which you use to manage complex projects.
• Experience in leading and promoting teams; you lead your team with empathy, commitment and a sense of responsibility.
• Appreciation for interdisciplinary collaboration, as well as high reliability and openness.
• You hold a master’s degree in law or business administration (University of Applied Sciences/University), a notarial licence or similar training with relevant professional experience; experience in notarial work, land registry office or real estate sector is particularly welcome.
• Excellent knowledge of German at C1 level and ideally French at B1 level.
