About the job
The National Roads Area VI (GEVI) department of the Civil Engineering Office of the Canton of St.Gallen makes a significant contribution to the safety of the national roads in the cantons of Glarus, Thurgau and St.Gallen through its maintenance work.
To complement our team, we are looking for a
Clerical Officer Construction Police Unit (m/f/d)
for the National Roads Area VI in the Construction Project Management department from 1 December 2026 or by arrangement
Workload: 40-50%
Workplace: St.Gallen
What to expect
- Preparation and formulation of statements for projects and requests from third parties (applicants) concerning national roads for the Construction Police of ASTRA
- Obtaining positions, clarifications and consultation of statements
- Participation in Construction Police meetings of ASTRA
- Coordination and information exchange between GEVI and the Construction Police ASTRA
- Quotation preparation and billing for ASTRA
- Collaboration and assistance with administrative matters of the Construction Project Management of GEVI
- Substitution at local appointments for inspections and enforcement controls
What distinguishes you
- Completed technical or commercial apprenticeship EFZ
- Experience in the construction industry, for example planning office, construction company, construction office of a municipality or canton
- Very good IT skills (MS Office)
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
- Customer-oriented behaviour, negotiation skills and assertiveness
- Independent and efficient working style
