Internship M&A

The M&A team, reporting to the Head of Corporate Development within the CFO area, is responsible for group-wide M&A activities and investment management.
As part of our team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of SIX by contributing to strategic M&A projects and supporting the management of our investments. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment and make a tangible impact on the company’s growth.
What You Will Do:
- Assist the SIX M&A team in ongoing transactions and strategic M&A initiatives
- Support financial modeling, company valuations, and conduct strategic analyses
- Conduct research on market trends, industry developments, and potential target companies
- Help manage complex M&A projects by ensuring smooth coordination across stakeholders
- Prepare high-quality presentations and materials for internal decision-making bodies
What You Bring:
- A university degree in economics, finance, or management (a technical or industrial engineering background with a strong interest in finance is also welcome)
- Ideally, prior experience in M&A, investment banking, or strategy consulting
- Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Solid planning and organizational abilities, combined with analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Fluency in English is a must; German and/or Spanish is a plus
