Our systems are used in Switzerland and worldwide, and our teams work with great dedication to delight our customers. Our main clients include banks, printing companies, municipalities, as well as waste disposal and industrial companies.

Finance & Accounting Clerk (70-80%)

Start date: immediately or by arrangement

You score with…

• A completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally supplemented by further training in finance
• Practical experience in accounts payable and receivable as well as dunning
• A strong flair for numbers with knowledge of VAT in Switzerland and Germany
• A resilient and thoughtful personality with precise and reliable working methods
• Confident handling of MS Office; experience with Abacus is an advantage
• Very good German skills, additional language skills (English/French) are an advantage

What to expect:

Financial Accounting/Controlling

• Overall responsibility for financial accounting – managing the entire accounting in the ERP system Abacus
• Management of general ledger and cash – postings, reconciliations and administration
• Closings – support with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Evaluations & reconciliations – e.g. sales bonuses, cost centres, contribution margins

Accounts Payable

• Independent management of accounts payable – recording suppliers, processing and posting supplier invoices
• Execution of payment runs
• Processing of expense and credit card statements

Accounts Receivable

• Independent management of accounts receivable – posting invoices and incoming payments
• Dunning and debt collection
• Assistance with maintaining the customer base

Taxes and Banks

• VAT returns – preparation of VAT returns for Switzerland and Germany
• Banking – determination of bank balances and control of bank guarantees
