About the job
Within our Pharmaceutical Development Management department, you lead pharmaceutical development projects, technology transfers, and product support for solid, semi-solid, and liquid forms. You actively contribute to the optimisation of manufacturing processes, technological innovation, and continuous improvement, while ensuring compliance with GMP and international regulatory requirements.
Your responsibilities:
- Manage pharmaceutical development and product support projects within defined deadlines, budgets, and objectives
- Define product quality profiles and develop the specifications necessary for development
- Plan, coordinate, and analyse formulation development studies and product support activities
- Participate (if necessary) and supervise tests conducted in the formulation laboratory and production
- Coordinate activities with the Production, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs departments, and other involved functions
- Participate in the implementation and promotion of the Quality by Design approach, risk analyses, and validation activities
- Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation for health authorities
- Identify and propose improvements to processes, equipment, and technologies
- Ensure scientific and technological monitoring to develop internal expertise
- Support Manufacturing during quality investigations if necessary
- Train and support team members in their technical development
- Provide necessary support during internal audits and regulatory inspections
- University degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, or equivalent field
- Significant experience in pharmaceutical development within a GMP environment, particularly with liquid/semi-solid forms (solid forms are a plus)
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical formulation and manufacturing technologies
- Excellent command of GMP, ICH requirements, and applicable international regulations
- Experience in managing multidisciplinary projects
- Critical and analytical mindset, solution-oriented, and ability to take initiative
- Good statistical knowledge
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluency in English; French is an asset
