Geomatics Specialist (m/f/d) 80–100%

Your Tasks

  • Independent execution of surveying assignments and field recordings for EBL's utility lines and installations (electricity and district heating)
  • You independently maintain the utility line documentation in the GIS and other data products such as network schematics
  • You ensure high data quality through data quality controls and support the team in geodata management
  • You show great commitment in the use of new technologies and applications in surveying
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration in projects of various sizes
  • Interest in training geomatics apprentices

Your Qualities

  • Completed training as a Geomatics Specialist EFZ, Geomatics Technician FA or equivalent
  • Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
  • Familiarity with GIS and surveying software (e.g. Smallworld), MS Office
  • Knowledge of the utility sector and BIM as well as experience in utility line surveying are an advantage
  • Driving licence category B
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Confident German language skills
