Test Engineer - Function Validation (m/f/x)

About the job

Your tasks

• You are responsible for the development, improvement and validation of the performance of axial piston machines
• You are responsible for the implementation and improvement of standardised and automated test procedures to ensure reliable and high-quality performance
• You analyse measurement results and propose optimisation actions aimed at improving products and reducing costs
• You use simulation tools to facilitate the interpretation and understanding of test results
• You identify the root causes of technical issues and independently propose innovative solutions
• You manage the implementation and evaluation of function tests
• You provide your technical expertise to assembly operators and test bench operators to ensure smooth operations
• You collaborate with various departments and internal customers to ensure effective coordination and smooth testing processes

Your profile

• You hold a higher education degree in microtechnology, mechatronics, systems engineering or an equivalent field
• You have several years of professional experience in hydraulic development
• You are proficient in French and German, and have a good command of English
• You possess excellent knowledge of MS Office tools, Python, MATLAB, HBM Catman and NI DIAdem
• You stand out for excellent analytical skills and demonstrate commitment, flexibility and autonomy. You have excellent professional communication skills
