About the job

The Marienhaus Residential and Care Centre in Basel offers elderly people a home where they can actively and independently shape their daily lives. To complement our Activation & Everyday Life Design team, we are looking for a specialist from 1 March 2027:

Specialist in Everyday Life Design and Activation (m/f/d), 30–60 %

Your Tasks

• You plan and organise individual and group activities both on and off the premises, e.g. gymnastics, memory training and themed afternoons
• You tailor the activities to the abilities and interests of the residents, including those with dementia
• You use modern aids such as the Tovertafel and Dividat Senso
• You organise outings in the neighbourhood as well as flexible activities
• You plan and accompany events and excursions
• You further develop the programme and work closely with other departments

Your Profile

• Completed training in activation or everyday life design (e.g. FAA, FAB, LeA or SRK)
• Experience in long-term care, ideally with people with dementia
• Independent working style and sense of responsibility
• Good IT skills
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form, good understanding of Swiss German
