About us:
We are Floor Trade AG – an owner-managed Swiss SME passionate about high-quality flooring. For us, it’s about parquet, vinyl and design – but above all about people, personal relationships and collaboration that works.
Your areas of responsibility:
- Financial accounting: You independently manage the general ledger, subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring correct and timely processing
- Closings: You prepare quarterly and annual financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations and ensure their quality and punctuality
- Reporting & planning: You create meaningful financial and management reports, actively participate in budgeting and financial planning, and support management with relevant key figures
- Taxes & audit: You prepare VAT returns and tax documents and act as the contact person for auditors, tax authorities and other external parties
- Payroll & social insurance: You are responsible for proper payroll accounting as well as the entire social insurance system and serve as the central contact for employees, authorities and insurers
- Processes & digitalisation: You help to further develop our financial processes, accounting software and its applications
What you bring:
- Completed commercial basic training with further education in finance and accounting or comparable qualifications
- Several years of solid professional experience in financial accounting (including closing expertise)
- Very good IT skills (common ERP systems, as well as very good Excel skills)
- Independent, responsible personality who recognises, prioritises and implements tasks autonomously
- High reliability, flair for numbers and an exact, structured way of working
