Platform Engineer – Kubernetes, Ansible

Supercomputing Systems develops hardware and software solutions on behalf of customers from the initial idea to market maturity. As a development partner, we focus entirely on the success of customer projects. Our assignments often include delivering a turnkey solution, which also includes IT platforms. Our delivery scope ranges from server, storage and network hardware through hypervisor, operating system, container orchestration to the application.

Your tasks

• Together with your team colleagues, you are responsible for the entire chain from design, procurement, implementation, installation, maintenance to further development of solutions for our innovative customers.
• We use DevOps methods, so you will be in constant exchange with the developers and often also with the customer’s operations team.

You have the opportunity to participate in other exciting cloud projects in other departments. Additionally, there is the chance to further develop yourself alongside the main activity as a System & Cloud Engineer in another area (e.g. IT security, DevOps in the Linux area, hardware, firmware or software engineering).

Your profile

• Completed technical basic training and several years of hands-on professional experience in IT operations and cloud environment
• Support and management of Kubernetes: You bring in-depth knowledge in the configuration, monitoring and scaling of Kubernetes
• Development and implementation of automation solutions with Ansible: You are able to independently translate complex tasks into Ansible scripts
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form

Furthermore, you convince us with experience in the following areas:

• Virtualisation with VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V
• Dimensioning
