G&F Châtelain, a branch of CHANEL SARL, is CHANEL’s watchmaking and jewellery manufacture in Switzerland. Our site develops, manufactures and assembles the Maison’s watches and jewellery, bringing together a wide variety of trades, combining exceptional artisanal know-how and cutting-edge technologies.
Within the Logistics & Services Department of CHANEL’s Watchmaking-Jewellery Division, we are creating a Business Analyst & Project Manager position to strengthen the performance, reliability and transformation of our Transport & Customs, After-Sales Service, Distribution and Sales Administration / Exports activities.
This cross-functional role aims to create links between operational teams, trades, Finance, IT and external partners. You will contribute to structuring data, managing continuous improvement projects and evolving our processes, serving the excellence expected in the luxury Watchmaking and Jewellery world.
YOUR IMPACT AT CHANEL
You support teams in analysing their performance and managing operational projects. At the interface between trades and support functions, you transform needs into concrete, measurable and sustainable solutions, while fostering stakeholder buy-in and execution quality.
As such, your main missions will be as follows:
Performance management and business analysis
- Build, ensure reliability and develop dashboards and activity management indicators: deadlines, service quality, costs, stocks, flows, productivity, etc.
- Analyse operational data to identify gaps, risks, trends and improvement levers.
- Prepare clear analyses and decision-making materials for management.
- Define and harmonise reference frameworks, management rules and KPI calculation methods with the relevant teams.
- Contribute to budget exercises and workload forecasts by providing reliable analyses to inform decisions.
Cross-functional project management
- Gather, clarify and prioritise the needs of Distribution, Transport & Customs, After-Sales Service and Sales Administration/Exports teams.
- Frame projects: objectives, scope, schedule, governance, resources, risks, budget and success criteria.
- Manage process optimisation, digitalisation and business tool evolution projects, in close collaboration with IT teams and partners.
- Lead workshops, coordinate contributors and ensure follow-up on decisions and action plans.
- Support change management and measure benefits achieved.
- Ensure standardisation of practices while preserving the level of requirement specific to our trades.
Continuous improvement
- Map end-to-end processes and identify pain points, redundancies, operational risks and automation opportunities.
- Propose and deploy pragmatic solutions to improve flow fluidity, service quality and cost control.
- Promote a data-driven decision culture and continuous improvement within teams.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
You hold a higher education degree in Supply Chain, Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics or equivalent. You have at least five years’ experience in a Business Analyst, Project Manager, PMO, Operations Consultant or Supply Chain Analyst role.
You have a good understanding of issues related to logistics, distribution, customer service / after-sales, international trade or sales administration.
You possess strong project management skills: framing, planning, coordinating multiple stakeholders, risk management and change support. You know how to simplify complex topics and communicate effectively with diverse interlocutors.
Rigorous, autonomous and results-oriented, you demonstrate strong analytical skills, good prioritisation and the ability to advance topics pragmatically.
You are fluent in French and English and have a strong affinity for Excel as well as reporting and data visualisation tools such as Power BI or equivalent. Knowledge of ERP and CRM, WMS or TMS tools is an asset.
