Finance Controller (m/f/d)

Role:
For an internationally active industrial company in mechanical and plant engineering in the Bern region, we are looking for an analytically strong controlling personality. In this role, you will work closely with project management and operations and create transparency about costs, margins and the economic development of demanding customer projects through sound analyses.
Your environment

High level of personal responsibility in analyses and financial control
Opportunity to specifically further develop existing controlling instruments
Visible role with regular exchange across various company departments
Responsibilities:
Coordination of monthly controlling and closing activities
Analysis of deviations from budget, forecast and current business objectives
Support of projects regarding cost development, margin and profitability
Investigation of production deviations in materials, personnel and overhead costs
Creation and further development of relevant management and industrial KPIs
Responsibility for budgeting, forecasts and regular performance evaluations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, finance, controlling or a comparable field
At least three years of experience in controlling or financial planning & analysis
Experience in industrial, production or project business is especially welcome
Very good Excel skills and confident handling of SAP
Very good analytical skills and a pronounced understanding of cost and margin structures
Fluent German and English skills as well as an independent and proactive working style
