About the job
Since 2006, Children First has been promoting the development of preschool children, especially those from international families living in Zurich, through its bilingual nursery.For our preschool and kindergarten at Freiestrasse 175 in 8032 Zurich, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for an open and committed supervisor for German as a Second Language (8-10 hours per week / 20%-50% workload)
We speak English and Standard German with the children in the nursery and after-school club.
You bring:
- German as a mother tongue
- a pedagogical/social pedagogical qualification recognised in Switzerland (EZ / FaBe Hf / DAZ)
- at least 5 years of experience working with children aged 3 to 6 and their parents
- DAZ experience with children under 8 years old
- openness to an international environment
- work experience in bilingual teams
- willingness to take on substitute roles
