Construction and Environment

Your main tasks

• Personnel and professional management and organisation of the Construction and Environment department
• Advising the municipal council as well as clients on all matters concerning the department
• Active participation in land use planning as well as projects for settlement and area development and traffic planning
• Quality assurance of structural development
• Management and support of development tasks in the areas of roads/structures, environment
• Preparation and ensuring compliance with the annual budget
• Maintaining constructive exchange with authorities, cantonal offices, and all other interfaces

Your profile

• University degree in architecture/spatial planning or civil engineering as well as proven knowledge and experience in business management matters
• Solid leadership and administrative experience
• Experience in project management in the field of spatial planning combined with expertise in planning and building law as well as development planning
• Analytical, conceptual thinking combined with the ability to assess complex matters and communicate them clearly and understandably
• Assertive personality with the ability to solve challenges constructively, prudently, and through dialogue
