Schilliger Holz produces sophisticated and innovative components for timber construction in efficient sawmill, planing, glued laminated timber, panel, and soon also wood fibre insulation board plants in Switzerland and France.

As an electrician in our new wood fibre insulation board plant, you are responsible for the professional installation and maintenance of electrical systems as well as programming and configuring the controls. You analyse electrical faults in the systems and initiate appropriate measures. You also periodically inspect the production equipment and the associated technical facilities.

Your role at LIGNATHERM

• Supervision of automatic systems
• Analysis and troubleshooting of faults
• Process optimisation in collaboration with production
• Support with maintenance and repair work
• Carrying out regular inspection work

The qualifications you bring

• A successfully completed training as an electrical technician or a comparable qualification
• Team player and reliable
• PLC knowledge, preferably able to program independently
• Sound knowledge of drive technology
• Responsible, careful, self-reliant and independent
• Good command of German
• Good technical understanding & manual skills
• Motivation and willingness to work in a shift system (including night / weekend)
