Focus on Sustainability Reporting

You will take the lead for BKW's sustainability report. In doing so, you coordinate specialists across the group, further develop reporting processes, and create reliable foundations for external audits, management, and ESG ratings.

Your Area of Impact

• As the lead of the sustainability report, you are responsible for its annual creation and further development and coordinate the contributions of data and information providers as well as the approval processes group-wide
• You independently manage the external audit process, find solutions in dialogue with the external auditors, and promote internal understanding to meet the requirements.
• You analyse annual improvement potentials and develop a roadmap for further implementation with the relevant stakeholders
• You specifically develop reporting processes, data and process quality, as well as the tools and automation solutions used, together with the specialists
• You contribute your expertise in ESG rating requests and investor discussions and derive improvement potentials for BKW
• You lead and support sustainability change projects and implement improvements together with the involved departments

Your Profile

• Your university degree is in business administration, sustainability management, environmental or engineering sciences, or a comparable field
• At least 2-3 years of experience and solid knowledge in sustainability management, especially in sustainability reporting, characterise your professional profile
• You are well familiar with relevant sustainability standards and regulations such as Swiss Code of Obligations (CH-OR) and CSRD/ESRS
• You are experienced in handling reporting and data management tools and know how to efficiently further develop reporting and data processes
• You also bring strong analytical skills and experience in conceptual work, project and stakeholder management, reporting, action planning, and communication
• You communicate orally and in writing in German at C2 level and in English at least at B2 level
