     Head of Office Prorectorate Education 80 % from 1 August 2027 or by arrangement The Thurgau University of Teacher Education, based in Kreuzlingen on Lake Constance, offers scientifically sound as well as practice-oriented initial and continuing education for teachers of all primary school levels as well as for secondary level II and trains experts in the field of early childhood. Our university impresses with a successful combination of tradition, research, development and innovation and places great value on regional, national and international networking. For the management of the office in the Prorectorate Education (PRA) we are looking for a strong leadership and implementation-oriented personality from 1 August 2027 or by arrangement. You will work closely with the Prorector Education, actively support him in his leadership and development tasks and independently manage projects and sub-projects. In doing so, you combine a reliable administrative study operation with the further development of the study organisation and its digital processes. Your field of activity

• Overall organisational responsibility for the administrative study operation in the PRA and its departments
• Coordination of cross-degree programme processes of the office, timetable and module planning, statistics and data management
• Professional and personnel management of the study coordinations
• Coordination of specialist staff in the support processes and the office
• Management of the PRA including preparation and follow-up of meetings (member of the prorectorate management)
• Operational financial responsibility for the PRA, coordination of the budget process, preparation of cost analyses as well as student key figures for the management committees
• Independent management of (sub-)projects, especially in digitalisation and organisational development, ensuring transition to regular operation
• Collaboration in prorectorate-wide projects

What distinguishes you

• University degree or equivalent qualification with appropriate further training
• Several years of leadership experience in university administration, educational management or a comparably complex organisation
• Sound knowledge in process and project management, experience with digitalisation
• Analytical thinking and confident handling of budgeting, key figures and data quality
• Strong communication skills (German), ability to cooperate and reliable implementation
• Good judgement and the ability to prioritise ongoing operations and further development
