About the job
During your apprenticeship as a Polymechanic EFZ / Production Mechanic (all genders), you manufacture precision parts by programming and setting up state-of-the-art machines. In collaboration with other professionals, you process orders or projects according to technical documents, build prototypes, and conduct tests. Finally, you check the quality of the parts using highly precise measuring and testing instruments. You participate in various teams and learn to monitor production processes or carry out maintenance work.
Duration of training
3 years for Production Mechanic EFZ
4 years for Polymechanic EFZ

Development
After successful completion of the apprenticeship, there is the possibility of a permanent position. We are happy to support you as a specialist and you can participate in our development programme. Further development opportunities include professional examinations as a production specialist or technical clerk with a federal certificate of competence. Certified technician HF in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, microtechnology or systems engineering, etc.

As an apprentice at NACHBUR, you will complete the first year continuously at Swissmechanic in Grenchen. This basic training prepares you optimally for your future profession. During this time, you acquire fundamental skills in a professionally equipped training environment and are accompanied by specialised trainers.
Your apprenticeship place is in the beautiful Holderbank SO. You work in day shifts and receive specific support from us. You can expect a helpful and work-joyful team atmosphere.
